Le Bateleur - Table reservation

We had seen the high recommendations on TA for this restaurant and happened to walk by it on our stroll to the upper old town of Vaison. The gentleman in there was very nice and was able to confirm a reservation for two of us the next evening.We had a terrific meal of poisson sauvage, a salmon-like fish that was really good paired with a local white wine! The desserts were exceptional and despite being so full, we ate every bit!We had a glimpse of the beautiful river before it got dark. Service was attentive and the pace of our meal was great! We agree with all of the great reviews and the Michelin plate rating!

overall disappointed, even if the lunch was correct, and it's a shame because the map let the best predict. In fact, what really was very disappointed to me was the octopus salad: salad leaves, frozen octopus in pieces, and a seasoning that could have been that of a banal brewery. I'm really sorry. the rest was fortunately above, but did not transcend me. Fortunately, the service is very casual and particularly friendly, and the immersive view of the guest is worth a look.
