Layon - Table reservation

my family and I visited the city of granollers and decided to have a late lunch. we stumbled randomly on the restaurant layon. through the front door with some small tables it opens up to a larger space with proper seating around tables. the old man who greeted us was very nice and friendly, and we tried our best with our very poor Spanish. because they don't have an English menu, we decided to mix with paella (with more meat than fish) and gamben (shrimps). they also had a Cannelloni court in white sauce. the Gambas court was a surprise. it was just with garlic, but delicious. the paella mixte was also delicious with enough portioning meats, mosquitoes, garnel and tint fish. the rice was only cooked rice. the man who served us was very attentive and helpful. the bill came to approx. 55 euro, with lollipops for the children when the change came. we had a very good experience in layon. the man made the experience very unforgettable.

the place is very central to granollers and the restaurant has been run for decades by the same family. the quality of the tapas is good. the quality of the seafood is good and the kitchen is ok. Perhaps larger tellers would be even better, especially with regard to the cheese salad. go for calamari, oktopus and bravas roasted kartoffels. the price-performance relationship is average and the relationship between waiters and customers seems to be on a long-term basis!

I took a pleasant surprise. very good food and attention. for putting a but everything was very good but maybe the price a little expensive.
