Being dog-tired after 24+ hours of travel and driving, wife and I chose this place as others near our hotel were either closed, gone or just pizzerias. We were not amused. The menu was simple, the choices few and the dinners we'd chosen were not good.Wife had some chicken-curry, which tasted OK, but came from a v.small chicken. I ordered (as an experiment) a small "Charolais" beefsteak with peppercorn sauce, which was tougher than this 200-lb man and his dull knife. I left 1/3rd uneaten and no one asked me why. And, jeez, who needed any more frites? Service was slow and, on balance, this was a place to avoid. I strongly recommend the French-language reviews of this brasserie as their experienced members thought it even poorer than I.

Came here after looking up the high street trying to find somewhere for lunch. Many places were closed or really expensive. We only really ended up choosing this place because it was our only option. The staff were really helpful and the young lady serving us spoke enough English alongside my broken French for us to get by. The portion sizes were very generous and really good food. Had a decent selection of drinks and at the end of the meal my father and husband wanted to buy the beer glasses they had been drinking from. The lady not only said they could have them free of charge but gave them nice clean ones. Would highly recommend.

I was here for the first time. Restaurant was almost full, so we waited 10 minutes to have a menu. Unfortunately they had only menu's on french and the stuff did't speak english. We choose 5 dishes and waited for the next 45min to get first dish. After that 45min more to have second dish. Food was ok, as well as the price.

Nice restaurant, with friendly people, however no English card, which was written outside. Excellent food and fast services.
