L'Authentique - Table reservation

We visited this restaurant twice during our two week holiday in nearby Brissac, so it must have been worth visiting! The staff welcomed us warmly and offered us a choice of seats in the garden -there is covered seating if the weather isn't good. All the food is simple but cooked perfectly at the wood fire outside. The sides are non negotiable, vegetables of the day and baked potato, but I kind of loved that. The meat was cooked exactly how it was requested. The service is typically laid back, so don't expect to be in and out in a jiffy, but it is well priced, very tasty, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will return next time we are in the area.

Barbecue restaurant, decent enough but nothing to raise it beyond this. Outdoor seating and appeared popular with the locals. Friendly waitress who spoke decent English. Reasonable value. Perfectly acceptable.

Lovely relaxed lunch. Had the skewers of the house... Beef kebabs... Lovely and large salads and great kids menu... All round very pleasant experience.

I treated myself to a wonderful Easter lunch at this restaurantI called to make reservations, and the people on the phone are very nice.
