Friendly staff but honestly the food sucked. Tried it twice. Frozen veggies poorly cooked with the plate de jour which was terrible. Second time I went with something simple. Ended up with a hamburger of second rate beef which was tasteless, and I probably should thank the gods for that. Fries soggy. At least the beer was cold. Look, I know people who say it is "OK" and go here. Maybe they smoke or are used to bad food. I really wanted to try the place three times before giving it a bad review but I can't force myself to go a third time. I hate to diss a local family who owned place but man.......The cook and waiter are nice at least. If the food was as nice as them it would be much better.

I love this little restaurant; their opening hours are a touch eccentric, but when they are open and serving dinner, it is a very good option for this little town.Their menu (oddly translated by Google), is growing. Their duck remains a favourite, and the other range of items seem to be locally sourced, decently cooked, well presented and offered in a friendly atmosphere. There should be more guests! Great value, good food and well worth visiting

Esperaza does not offer a great choice, but this restaurant is a little gem. It is the fourth (or so) incarnation of this particular building, but I think that there is hope for longevity. The owners are friendly and speak a little english, and their cooking, whiel not imaginative is good anda portions generous. In particular, their duck breast is quite delicious, and I have yet to be there with a disappointed diner.Well worth a try!

This is a medium-range restaurant offering a variety of options ranging from hamburgers to duck breast, and everything that I or a companion has had, has been good.I particularly like the buck breast; served grilled and sliced with a salad and home-made fries, it is a treat! Their turkey breast special is always good, and other dishes seem to be well presented, generous and well priced.
