This was an intensely local restaurant. Upstairs, a group of women were having some sort of meeting and outside (as it was a beautiful evening), several groups were having drinks. We had couscous. It was good and filling and a bargain at 13 euros. The owner was friendly and we managed with our almost nonexistent French and his limited English. We were able to book online and received an email from the owner asking us if we had any preferences for our meal. I would rate this as a five for friendliness and service and a three for the food, therefore a three in total. I debated rating this as a four but do not want to make it sound better in terms of the food than it was.
A discovery that will not go unanswered Very cordial welcome, I really loved it, the couscous was a treat, and the mint tea was a delight! An excellent rating also (I almost forgot) for the oriental pastries, real ones! Thank you for this good time.
This cute place gave us the sense and warmth of a family kitchen that provides tasty food made with love. If you find time to go, and I highly recommend you do, try the Moroccan sweets
