Returned here after being pleasantly surprised about the culinary standard in September 2022. The level of cooking remains extraordinary, well balanced flavours nice presentation all at Michelin level I would say. The restaurant offers a cosy and modern atmosphere with comfortable seating. This time round I rate them 4 out 5 and not 5 out of 5 as I did last time. The reason for this is there are points worth improving. In winter time of course everybody is in their overcoats, however it’s not offered to take you coat. So everybody hang them from their chairs, should not be. Another issue we noticed, we had paring wines with the food (excellent wines by the way). But much to our surprise they poured all the wines in the same glass, again at this level of restaurant they should change them with every wine. Having said all this, L’Artre is must go to place in Honfleur!
We spent an excellent evening in this restaurant for a very reasonable price: 39€ for 3 dishes that are 4 in fact because the mouth is excellent and copyy. the sauces must fall, so I don't remember having so much appreciated the yellow wine sauce that accompanied the stains and, happiness, it's not chiekyly served. each dish quite tasty, the dessert Paris-Honfleur) can be a little below, in fact less original, less surprising than other dishes. an excellent discovery for a precisely measured price!
Small enough, the place with a modern design makes it feel comfortable. he saw on the kitchen what is very nice to see the chef and his team at work. The concept of the number of dish is large. the formula of being able to match the wine in the dish as well. each plate was beautiful to look and the flavors were at the rendezvous. we were in love
Can only assume this place has changed hands. What a terrible waste of time and money Absolutely zero points for their food All presentation and no flavour or intelligence Never have I been so duped. Booked due to their Michelin recommendation. Many good places in Honfleur .. do not go here.
