I travel a lot; for business, as well as pleasure, and have tried my fair share of burgers in several countries (U.K., U.S.A, Mexico,Peru, Brasil, Japan...). I can honestly say I have never had such a good burger. What makes this place special is the degree to which everything is made in-house. The burger meat either beef (patty made from scratch), or the duck (is simply a carved duck breast - cooked perfectly I might add). Then there's the roll, the bread is made in-house and baked in the pizza oven, so you know the bread is always fresh. The french fries, are home made and are better than any other fries I've ever had. The rest is just simple veg and great tasting, original sauces ( - I had the Spanish burger on my first visit, which had a semi hash-brown/tomato sauce in it, to begin with this sounded a bit weird, being from the U.K. we don't tend to mix potato with tomato, however, it was incredible). All the sauces are incredible. I could keep writing about this place, but I don't want to prattle on, I'm going finish by saying that, I'm approx 6'2", 80-85Kg of Rower i.e. I eat a lot, and I can say without any hesitation that the portion sizes are amazing.Congrats if you've made it this far, and my sincerest apologies for droning on, however I only do so because I truly wish that you give this place a try, if you're not too pretentious, and have an open mind, you will be wowed. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Tarbes.
