Our friends has suggested we book a table, this was around weeks before our visit and we got a table for on a Saturday, earlier than we would've liked but we got in so that's the hardest part dealt with. We were expecting,...no idea why, to be quickly fed and shown the door so they could turn tables', this was not what happened, the table was ours for the night. Georgio welcomed us and Rachel was perfect in going through the questions about the menu and the specials', I tried a glass of the house white to test the quality, bottles later... The starter we had was light and had our eyes opening, the mains were equally exceptional and don't get us going about the home made desserts... (I did offer to marry Georgio if Rachel ever wanted to divorce him)... Overall, we couldn't find any fault with anything, that's not easily said as we're tight ar$es from Yorkshire... Cheap it isn't, quality it is... If we lived within miles, this would be our once a month treat.
Attentive staff but not over bearing, lovely food and wine. Jerusalem artichoke soup to start very tasty and smooth consistency followed by turbot with garlic and white wines sauce delicious! Couldn’t manage a dessert. Highly recommend if you are looking for good quality food...and charming atmosphere
One word - expensiveWorth it ? Every single penny._I only come here on special occasions (I am not a millionaire!)The food is quite spectacular.
This is my favourite restaurant in Scarborough! It's small, friendly and very high quality_. OK, it's expensive, but well worth every penny.
