When the weather is good, this is not a bad place to sit outside for a drink, nice riverside and town and views. But, service is slow and very casual/unprofessional, the prices are a little high, and the food, a disappointment..... I had a ham and cheese baguette, but without the cheese (I don't eat cheese and there is little on the unimaginative menu, that does not have cheese in it). What I got was a very dry piece of baguette, with two paper thin slices of tasteless ham and three almost paper thin slices of tomato in it. Was this my punishment for asking for no cheese? I got the impression that they are not really interested in customer satisfaction. As for eating inside, it is stark, noisy and completely lacking in atmosphere. Did seem popular with young families though, i.e. noisy and messy did not bother them.
My boyfriend and I popped over to Lama Bar after an ice hockey game near this place. The bar was nice and simple and counted with a good selection of cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and food. Music was pretty good there too. The bar is located right across Kaufland, under the elevated road. There are parking places available near it.
Good place for a quick drink. Offers big tables for big groups of people. We went in a Friday evening and it was very full, we could hardly hear each other. But we were served quickly and our drinks were tasty.
