Although Lalkilla has been around for circa 30 years, I 'm relatively a newcomer, as only discovered within the last couple of years. During my time coming, I 've recommended this place to various family and friends, who have all enjoyed their visit. I 've recently started to explore the menu a bit more and have some more of the traditional dishes such as Jalfrezi, Bhuna etc... It 's safe to say you just don 't get the traditional curry at many other places. I won 't name other places, but 99% of them have the same basic curry base, all look the same, and don 't actually differ that much in taste. Then they put some fancy garnish on top and call it a special Highllights from the menu at Lalkilla are the spiced parkora, allo chaana, chicken phal, garlic/keema naan, the chips and the korma sauce.
Went in for the special. Couldn't have been better. A proper authentic Indian restaurant. Spotlessly clean and the owner couldn't do enough for us. Very polite and well mannered. The food was perfect. The portions are more than enough and we'll presented. We thoroughly recommend lalkilla.
Very cheap, should have been a warning sign. Nothing was up to the standard we would have expected from reading some of these other reviews. Overall disappointing.
Went to this lovely restaurant an had the 10 deal the food was stunning very clean we was so well looked after by Ronnie chips were home made such a nice place x
