Met a friend here for lunch, we were shown to the table and immediately brought a kir. I ordered the fixed price menu, which was, I think, 16 euros, she went a la carte. The choice for the prix fixe menu is good - I had a salad to start, followed by the most enormous escalope milanaise ever. My friend had the caprese to start and then pasta with chorizo. We washed it down with a carafe of the house red, which was perfectly drinkable. Service was excellent, attentive, but not overly so. Restaurant was not particularly busy, but had a nice buzz, with what seemed to be mostly regular, local diners.
We went to this restaurant based on recommendations on trip advisor and we were not let down. The fixed price menu is around €15 for two courses or €18 for three. There is a good choice of meals on the fixed menu and the food was brilliant. Lashed up with drinks and snacks throughout to compliment the meal.
Very close to our hotel this fitted the bill. Starting with a tasty bruschetta followed by Lasagne for my wife and rigatoni chorizo for me washed down with a bottle of Bordeaux. A very enjoyable meal served in fine French style.
