"Our meal was fabulous! We had prawns, sea bass, salmon, steak, and langostinos — everything was excellent! On top of the great food, the space was lovely we felt like we stepped back into old Havana, and the live music was great!! Wonderful night!!"

We had lunch there after visiting the nearby NH art gallery next door. This is a hidden gem with high quality colombian food in a wonderful and classy decor. Somehow makes you feel you are in Habanna in the 50's. You barely see the entrance...which is a mark of quality considering the number of touristy restaurants around town. There is live music in the evening, unfortunately did not have a chance to return but it must be an experience.

For the price. After Covid we were told new owners. The meal in December 2022 was expensive and food was contaminated and expensive. It is a shame, but new property is not providing food as well as previous owners. Fish was expensive and tasteless. Go somewhere... like Ana or Lobo del mer both a little expensive and food big. Live music with 6 people band was almost worth the price of the meal!

We read on several Foodie blogs about the amazing food in La Vitrola. Unfortunately, reality did not live until the hype. All we ordered was moderate (best) and expensive, including the empanadas, leg, fish of the day, jerk chicken and lobster pasta....The service was great and the live music was wonderful, but that could not compensate bad food. Skip this place.

Let's see... outdated... eat nothing special... It was left behind... and by far!!!... There are MUCH better modern restaurants in Cartagena, CANDE, MISTURA, MAR and ZIELO, DON JUAN... Just to name a few... It's not worth it, it's just an old restaurant that... behind...
