La Vigna - Table reservation

I think this is a wonderful place to me friends for a drink, a snack or a light lunch. It has italian style food, very nicely presented and beautifully seasoned. Being also a wine and italian food shop there is always an excellent selection of wine to be had here. The antipasti is very good and there is always a small section of dishes that changes according to the day of the week and mont. this includes vegetarian and soup dishes. This is one of my favorite places to eat with friends in Braunschweig and reasonably priced.

We had lunch at La Vigna. I think our timing was lucky as we managed to walk in and get a table, but it was around 2ish. I am convinced that a booking is a must for dinner and probably lunch too. The atmosphere was friendly and the weekly menu something that we will definitely try again. A bottle of Italian Sauvignon Blanc was a great accompaniment to the Italian Gulasch with polenta. A great way to spend Saturday, we will definitely go back.

I often visit the restaurant LA VIGNA in the heart of Braunschweig. The restaurnat has a typical Italian athmosphere especially in summer time and if you are lucky to get one of the gardne tables. (reservation is recommended). The daily menue card is not to comprehensive yet the offered disjes are very good (less can be more!).Also the excellent variety of wines must be mentioned.

Went there for lunch and had a great meal. Unfortunately, we only saw the option of having any bottle from the shop when we looked at the desserts. It gets busy at lunchtimes, but that is no wonder considering its location and the quality of the restaurant!

Very friendly staff, very helpful, food excellent, wine superb! Ambience good with candles lit, lovely outside area. Full marks all round.
