On the basis they serve food I guess it does warrant the title but it is really just the chateau’s tearoom, not that that says anything negative about it. There were a lot of people enjoying salads and pastries when we were there and we simply had a drink and a pice of strange but quite nice, apple something or other, difficult to define it actually. Anyway, as ‘pit stop’ after wandering the chateau and gardens for quite a long tome, it was nice to sit and recharge. It was a bit on the pricy side though, a tea, a Perrier and that strange appely thing cost 13e! With so many outstanding ‘restaurants’ in the area I’m not sure I would book there for Sunday lunch but, hey, if it gets you going, go for it.
