The food was wonderful. I went for sea food, a delicious shrimp ravioli an a green curry with peeled st Jacques. I received a great advice for a pairing wine, a lovely white Bordeaux (what else could it be) from Graves. Also the pana cotta desert with red fruits was really good, even though not all fruit was fresh due to the season. Service was fast, helpful and very friendly. They even ran after me to bring me my pull-over.
We had a beautiful night at this buzzing restaurant. Initially we sat outside but due to a sudden shower of rain, we were quickly moved inside. The staff were super attentive and the menu was interesting with a great choice of local dishes. Each dish, we had an entree, main and dessert, was delicious. I had veal which was out of this world in flavour. I really hope we go back a second time during our stay in Bordeaux.
Fabulous friendly service, fresh tasty seafood and seductive wines. We arrived without a booking when they opened at 7.30 and ate inside. It was a pleasure to be greeted and accompanied through the meal by smiling faces and helpful guidance in English and French.
This little gem on a side street stuck between two noisy pubs is easily missed but the gourmet cuisine is certainly memorable. With one of the best cave too, it’s an experience that you will repeat again and again. Well worth it!
