"After a while in the car, we arrived at the rice door at hours very of supper the truth is that we had a pretty cool day and our car was not much for the job of putting the heat to work, so we asked for a first shot that put the body to tone, and we followed with two recommendations of the owner: onion full of chicken and mushrooms. Two amazing dishes not only for your gout the truth is that this restaurant does not waste in florets, it is not the typical restaurant of fine appearance and refined decoration at least detail, but that the delicacy is exactly where it should be: in the kitchen, and in the dishes and the truth is that the recommendations of luis, the owner of this restaurant and the hotel where we would sleep that night were more than correct. We wanted a dinner not too heavy since we had eaten quite late, but we felt curious about these dishes and were sincerely good, good desserts are also curious, we decanted for a rice with caramel milk and a rice cake with chocolate milk upstairs, they were as good as they sounded when reading them in my opinion, one of those curious places that you are happy for the good of the food and for the surprise of finding you such a special menu."

Tras un rato en el coche, llegamos a La Puerta de Arrobio a horas muy de cenar. La verdad es que llevábamos un día de bastante fresco y nuestro coche no estaba muy por la labor de poner la calefacción a funcionar, así que pedimos una sopita de primero que nos puso el cuerpo a tono, y seguimos con dos recomendaciones del dueño: Cebollas rellenas de pollo y setas. Dos platos sorprendentes no sólo por su sabor. Lo cierto es que éste restaurante no derrocha en florituras, no es el típico restaurante de aspecto fino y decoración refinada hasta el más mínimo detalle, sino que la exquisitez está exactamente donde debe estar: en la cocina, y en los platos. Y lo cierto es que las recomendaciones de Luis, el dueño de éste restaurante y del hotel donde dormiríamos aquella noche, fueron más que acertadas. Queríamos una cena no demasiado pesada ya que habíamos comido bastante tarde, pero nos entró curiosidad por éstos platos y sinceramente estaban buenos, buenos. Los postres también son curiosos, nosotros nos decantamos por un arroz con leche con caramelo y una tarta de arroz con leche con chocolate por encima, que estaban tan buenas como suenan al leerlas. En mi opinión, uno de esos lugares curiosos de los que sales contento por lo bueno de la comida y por la sorpresa de encontrarte un menú tan especial en un lugar que tiene una apariencia bastante sencilla.
