We chose this place for our first evening out in Vannes, after reading reviews on here. It more than lived up to the task, as it was excellent. It's a lively & friendly restaurant which we didn't get around to booking, trusting to luck. There was a few tables spare. We ordered food from there 28 Euro menu for 3 courses. The dishes are also individually priced if you just wish for 1 or 2 courses.Recommended for starters are the duck liver with a hazel nut crumble as well as the foie gras (goose liver pate)For mains we both had the Entrecote steak served with potatoes and either Bernaise or Pepper sauce, the steak ordered as a medium, came out just perfect for us, still red through out. My wife had the Petit Gourmand for desert.. mini deserts such as chocolate brownie, creme brulee.. served with a mini coffee. One of the best things about this restaurant is we were never rushed between courses, making for a lovely experience, which we'd repeat anytime.

We were a little cautious after a bad experience in a French restaurant in our previous town, and to no fault of the restaurant as the communication or lack of it probably didn't help. We looked at several options for our first night in Vannes and came across La P'tite Souris and through the assistance of the wait staff and a translated menu we were able to order what ended up being an excellent food choice. The 3 course option we chose was excellent and provided great value for money. The cost was reasonable and I would recommend this cosy location to visitors to Vannes

We were a group of three and this was an AMAZING dinner. We each got the three course meal (different plates) & they were all incredible. My husband and I have been living in France for 5 months and this is one of the best restaurants we've been to, period. The crazy part is, it's not even that expensive! Three course + wine glass ~ 35€.

I had this restaurant recommended in a bar that I visited. Can't fault the food or the service or the ambience. I had a 3 course menu, and needed the walk back to the hotel. Can't recommend too highly!
