Having turned up without a booking on a Saturday night we were found a table in the reception area of the restaurant/ hotel. Actually not as weird as it sounds as the table is in a window alcove.We were saying in the hotel ( review elsewhere) and hadn't booked dinner but they were good enough to accommodate us.As it was a busy Saturday night service was a bit slow and we were all given a complimentary starter due to the delay ( and because white fish takes longer to cook !?!?)3 out of the 4 of us had ordered fish. The grilled sole was delicious as was the turbot and the monkfish.The sirloin steak was a little tough and undercooked.Total bill for 4 of us came to just under €200 including wine and other drinks.Given that we each only ordered a main that seems rather steep. Each fish course was €30+ which I think is a bit steep especially as we were witching sniffing distance of the sea.I would however recommend La Pecherie but do remember to book.
We were staying in a B&B in the neighbourhood and the owner recommended having a dinner here for the quality of the food based on very fresh products. She mentioned it was quite expensive but we got a 3 course menu for 19,5€. We probably did not get the best dishes but what we got just delighted us. It was just very good for the price we paid.Moreover the staff was kind and we enjoyed our dinner in the veranda in the sunset light.A real pleasure.
Very poor food, very poor service, I don't know if it was because we were English, but both steaks we ordered were gristly and fatty. The chips are like oven chips the salad was good. All in all a very expensive 40 minutes, as we left to get food elsewhere.
We had a nice dinner on the sun porch. We both had the menu at 19.50 euros. I would like to quible with trip advisor. for price it has 4 dollar signs. Our bill came to 52 euros and for a three course meal with drinks it should be $$ to $$$
