Every Saturday, my husband goes to a Tai-Chi class and I get just over an hour to myself. La Marina is right next door to where he goes, so after a poor choice of cafe's last week - I opted for this great looking place.Airlie was heaving this morning with the start of race-week. People everywhere and quite a full cafe. No matter - staff were unfazed, calm and friendly as I took my table which I was planning on lingering at for over an hour. The restaurant is good-looking, the menu is varied with those favorites that you want to see, and the staff are attentive.I chose a pretty basic brekkie - just simple eggs with a bit of avo and a flat white. I backed this up with a pot of green tea until my hubby joined me after his class.Everything on my plate was perfect, great poached free-range eggs. Coffee was very good. Tea came in a pot with a matching cup which wasn't a fat-china coffee cup (tea drinkers will understand what I mean about that!) Points scored there.I had a lovely morning there, hubby enjoyed his long black when he arrived - we'll be back - probably next Saturday, and maybe sooner to try the dinner menu - that looked yummo. There's not many places I would highly recommend, but this is one of them.
