We arrived from Bordeaux and came upon this gem on Saturday night to a warm welcome - and a gourmet meal. A steal at 24 Euro for a three course menu along with superb wine from the region. The chef worked with the Red Cross in India, Pakistan and tough spots in Africa before offering to all passers by the fruits of his own terroir. We fell in love with the cuisine and his family- and had every meal on Sunday and Monday. And plan to do breakfast there before heading home to Geneva via Bordeaux. The food is super excellent along with great company and a terrific ambience by the river. Highly recommended.

Just because we were sitting in wet clothes and feeling grubby (but well exercised) after a morning kayaking on the River l'Aveyron doesn't mean that the service or food was therefore lacking. Baptiste and his team made us a remarkably unexpected salad of hot goats cheese on a croute with a drizzle of honey on the freshest of salad leaves, with a few walnuts and sun dried tomatoes to finish it off. This, with a plate of charcuterie and some cold drinks rounded off a great day. Laid back, friendly vibe, as well as delicious! Thank you!

As far as I know La Guinguette is only open week long in July and August. Weekends May and June and September through October. Closed in the winter. They have great bands on Saturday nights in summer time. Food is good but a little over-priced in the region.

Lovely little place with a relaxed atmosphere, good food, good coffee, decent selection of drinks. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The river is great for swimming and kayaking (also for kids and beginners).
