I took a group of nearly 30 people across multiple hotels to VT for a week. Before we arrived I emailed with the fantastic Patrick to try to put everyone together for breakfast/evening meal. Patrick was great, so incredibly patient, flexible and welcoming. The restaurant itself is a joy, the staff were amazing. A special shout out to Yves who dealt with all my daily stress, Marvin who took care of us (hope your ankle recovers soon), Karen who kept us smiling, and Yohann who somehow got us through the mountain specials ordering (it was like trying to herd cats). I'm sure I missed lots of people who looked after us so well so thank you one and all. The food was generous, tasty, and Le Grange always were happy to help meet our needs. I can thoroughly recommend the pizza, it's probably the best I had in VT. Patrick, thank you and the team so much. Hope to see you all again very soon.

Massive open plan restaurant with great views from the large windows. We had dinner on Thursday evening during a week of skiing. The main room is much more light and airy than the photos on the website suggest. I would imagine Yves and his team gave us a warm welcome and were friendly and helpful throughout the night despite the restaurant being extremely busy. The upper floor was full of schoolchildren feasting on chips and profiteroles but the noise did not seem to carry down to us. The food was great not just the usual Savoyarde cheese/bread/potato, but a range of other french and international dishes. Wine was reasonably price. We were 14, all on one table. 8 adults and 6 teenagers and everyone enjoyed themselves. We had to pay a €10/person deposit earlier in the week which was reasonable for a big group.

When we came in service was good and fast, but later it became rude and slow (took 15min to get tap water . Here they do not pour wine you glasses, just throw the bottle on the table. Menu has a lot of stuff, but we found all quite tasteless (duck breast, ribs.. and tartiflette was nothing like the real one. Steak was good and raclette okay. Atmosphere was nice, but quality of food and service is more important.

Very good service. Waiters very nice and food very good. The price is low for the standard in Val Thorens. We simply had to come back to La Grange after experiencing other restaurants.
