Beautiful spot in San Clemente for breakfast. Famous for their delicious crepes. Today we tried something different, the avocado toast, the french toast with berries and the bacon and cheese omelette. The french toast is two large slices of bread topped with fruit. It may have been a combo of frozen and fresh fruit. Whipped cream and syrup on the side. The toast was a little on the dry side. Still searching for a rich custardy french toast. Good feedback on both the omelette and avocado toast. You get a choice of bread with the omelette and a little spring salad. The avocado toasts comes with a side salad and vinaigrette dressing. The view though on a beautiful day is what makes everything tastes better. The coffee drinks are also very yummy! Average prices for Breakfast.
Crepes for breakfast. We only tried the Berries and Cream crepe. There are other savory crepes too. The location is great. We enjoyed sitting outside. Pre-covid we would be sitting in the street. I like that this restaurant continues to offer sidewalk seating. With a view of the San Clemente pier and park, it's the best part of the breakfast. Coffee got cold fast, so expect to ask for refills.
The views from this restaurant are as amazing as the food! We had the spinach mushroom crepe? and it was absolute lite delicious! It was huge- enough for 2 people! The coffee and service are also excellent! All of the employees are very welcoming and friendly! Perfect place to spent a beautiful morning along the waters edge!
Easy to get an outdoor seat for one at 11am Thursday. Minimal street noise, occasionally unloading UPS and Amazon trucks blocked the view, otherwise a nice view of the pier and passersby. The service was prompt and polite. My pear and pomegranate salad $13) was very good. With soda, tax and tip $20.
