La Fromagerie - Table reservation

It is a pity that this restaurant does not do any of these lovely things at lunch time during weekdays. Then it only provides a Menu du jour for workmen. However, evenings and weekends the fondue and pierrade and raclette are excellent! The seats in the restaurant are wood and hard and not terribly comfortable. It is very savoyarde and worth trying. A bit in the middle of nowhere in between Valleiry and Viry. Also a nice shop. It really is a great pity about the weekday lunches which is when I want to go! Local for me, so no travel

We love going to see Julien. The help you get here on flavours and taste of his products is brilliant, superb creme fresh local butter and the desserts are very tasty. Plus a great selection of wines. Nothing is to difficult for him. I noticed a previous comment on another web site which the person made some un complementary comments which I found totally out of keeping with our service over the years

Catering is a profession clearly here the basics are not acquired. Unpleasant waiter deplorable advice 1h30 wait to heat three potatoes Problem recording the number of reservations (2 weeks in advance though) Raclette served without cold meats. Unpleasant attitude as possible, I strongly advise against it Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very rude! We were there at 7pm. The restaurant was empty but apparently fully booked. We told her we drove an hour and asked her very nicely if there really wasn't table free. We asked if we could sit outside, but she said it was too cold, we had the feeling she did not want us there. Maybe because we are German...? Very disappointed.

Very very nice for my last night in France Good food and excellent service and awesome steak Just a cute place on the side of the road with a nice charm
