La Flammerie - Table reservation

We chose this place becaue it was higly rated on Trip Advisor. I think it was fair, not much more special than some of the other places we've eaten okay, not one of the bad ones. Kids had Duck with Pinor Noir/Honey sauce - they liked it. It comes with sauerkraut so I asked for friet instead. I had Munster with potatoe and pork (was quite heavy) and husband had steak. All was decent. Desserts of the chocolate cake (more brownie like) and fruit tart - large portions so it's good we shared.

Loved our lunch today at La Flammerie! We chose traditional Alsace dishes and wines and were thoroughly satisfied in. Both quality and quantity. The three pork cuts with sauerkraut and potatoes dish was huge and delicious with horseradish cream and Dijon mustard. The local cheese topped tart flambee was equally tasty and satisfying. Prompt service, great decor and English spoken. Value for money. Staff quick to tell us this was Alsace food- not French!

A well know place in the village with local food.All is well prepared and very tasty. Portions are rich.Service is nice and laid back, staff handle several languages.They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Sadly is the outdoor seating located on the main road thru the village so some disturbing traffic can occur.

My wife asked a table for 2 pp and 1 baby; the waiter said there were enough tables for us but when she informed her manager, and saw the baby carer they refused us. Not child and customer friendly at all as they could suggest to sit inside with plenty of places. Not recommended!!!

Nice place for a quick lunch ???? Friendly staff, and when we dont speak french, the staff spoke good English????
