Having travelled extensively in Italy, it is always a pleaseure to find a good Italian restaurant outside Italy as, in my opinion, 99.9% are rubbish.These guys have a wood fired oven and 2 very proficient pizzaioli.Honestly everything is good here. Pasta is excellent, Meat is superb. Service is excellent but take care of the sometimes mis interpreted southern Italian humour :)You cannot go wrong.
kitchen and bar are integrated in the dining room. this is open and designed with large windows. because many courts are picked up there is a lot of traffic. the pizza calzone was rather undercut: falling mid, much more dry but not crispy teig at the edge and inside a lump with little aromatic filling. the pizza Rucola/Parma ham was good, the small portion homemade tortellini also.
this nice italian is in the did of family members - pizza oven, operation and chef (at least). next to a very good standard card there is a special menu changing every month as well as a daily selection.
great pasta dishes and especially the delicious pizza makes the small Italian restaurant. the chef still serves himself here.
