We arrived with a group of 9 people. We all ordered pizza or pasta. The pasta was okay, but not worth the price. The pizzas are terrible... They are thin, crunchy and burned down. Some of us even hacked it in their jaw to chew so hard on the pizza. The service was as rude as I have never seen, and they refused to listen to English. The atmosphere was not beautiful because the door in a cold breeze now and then, and there was a constant TV game. The restaurant tries to be fancy, but is not from Italy. Would NOT recommend.
This restaurant cannot be faulted for its warm welcome and charming owner and staff. The restaurant is comfortable and well appointed. The pasta I had for lunch was good (pear and cheese stuffed pasta with an arabiata sauce) but my partners' tagliatelle with bolognaise sauces...was too bland. The quantities were good, especially if you have been skiing all morning, but overall we left with mixed feelings.
Looks like a smart café, but it's not. My GF-Lasagne was burned on the outside and frozen inside. For a salad Niscoise thought that can't go wrong. A plated salad with a small, not very small amount of tuna, boiled... Egg, Soggy potato and tasteless black olives. The ones picked up above is the rest of my 13.50€ salad. Cataluña has amazing restaurants that is not one of them.
Staff friendly. However the restaurant was busy and service extremely slow. One evening my meal(which was delicious when it finally arrived) wasnt served until everyone else had finished their meal
