There are few better things during a Saturday morning than walking through the madrid lyrics neighborhood, visiting some of the art galleries, markets and cafes, listening as some flamenco notes come out of an open window during the cool morning, hours before tourists and locals shake the hangover Friday night and go out to the street. if during your walk you are thirsty, I recommend you go to the anchovy, a Galician tavern from the old school where you have fabulous beers, vermouths and seafood. They have oysters, shrimp, sepias, berbets, crabs, clams and octopus also large sausages such as chorizo and serrano ham, also high-end mussels, clams, chirlas, and of course anchovies. I know most of us, Americans are not used to taking the conserves like a delicacy, but in the case of the spider, it is. I am not sure why, but there is something in the adobo and in the astute process that changes the flavor (to feed) and the texture of the seafood in something completely different and velvetly-suave. I suggest you follow the Spanish tradition and ask for a cold vermut before the meal (which has a barrel and try so delicious Galician oysters. Really amazing!

The two older men working behind the bar were so unwelcoming and unfriendly to us, English-speaking foreigners specifically Asian and Black.

good tapas place and quite busy on weekday afternoons, but given the high quality of food in spain, this place feels mediocre to me
