La Cigale - Table reservation

Worst treatment ever. We are a family of four, two four year olds. We were sitting outside and many bees arrived with the food.. we changed tables so that we could escape from the bees and the owner snapped at us. Took the food from our table, was aggressive towards our kids, shouting and insulting in French.the waiter, poor boy, just kept his eyes down. We didn’t even have the chance to eat. Never experienced such a thing in my life. To remove food from 4 year old kids. The worst place ever. Stay away from this place as the owner is not a normal person. Could it be because we were foreigners and didn’t speak French? Considered calling the police but whatever..

We enjoyed our meal there a lot. We both had a Cap Corse drink before starting the meal and liked it. My husband had the panzetta dish and I had the barbecued mussels and it was all very good. Good housewines too. Our desserts were tasty too: stracciatella milkshake and brocciu (local cheese) ice cream. Excellent service! We paid 59€ for everything and found the price fair.

Having had dinner at a restaurant near the marina, we found ourselves here taking an evening walk. We didn't want to eat already, but we couldn't walk past the lights of the gelateria of this restaurant. A wide selection of ice cream and excellent quality!

We chose this restaurant because it was near our hotel and it was a nice surprise. My husband had the “menu du jour” which was a slow cook beef and it was to die for. I had the mussels and they were delish as well.

Amazing ice cream and very nice service. Our kids loved it here and the waiter was super nice. The ice cream was delicious
