Popular place. Arrived at 9pm while most other places in Saint-Girons seemed closed! I was afraid to eat quickly, but I was relieved to feel that the server was not in a hurry. Service with ice water came quickly, but everything else was at a slower pace. Food and wine were pleasant and we had a delicious Basque pie dessert. It all started well, a copyy gizzard salad at the entrance and then patatra: aperitif served after the entrance, waiting endlessly between the entrance and the dish, while the waitress drinks at the bar. Plat that was probably forgotten because we were told of duck confit with his gratin dauphinois. We finally had more than ordinary fries to our surprise. It followed a meal in the dark, without light, as well as the cheese service (in a cardboard plate) served at the same time as dessert, insipid (with plastic spoon). We had a mess service. We felt embarrassing. A salty addition to the height of disappointment. Unworthy of a restaurant. Careful, the boss offered us a drink but insufficient to compensate. A nice place to drink, not to eat.

Formerly the Couserans 4 days vacation in St Girons. A very good spirit of volunteerism reigns, respect for smile and sympathy... except in this restaurant. The mayor gave them an extra terrace. Nice but I doubt he knows that the boss distorts the image of the city and the region. 25€ for a return product price much less than 5€, fries served instead of a gratin (without excuses), glasses and sometimes plastic plates. At the end of the service, we tell the boss that it is exaggerated, we will have the end of the word today that I am here to make money, the rest that I don’t want to come back next week, you will eat better for 15€. With such a mentality, I strongly advise not to put my feet there.
