After landing a job in the Middle East, myself and my fiancé only had 10 weeks to plan our wedding. We decided on Ibiza but deliberated a lot over where to hold the wedding reception. Our celebrant, Hedley Paul, recommended La Casita as we wanted somewhere small, quaint and charming. La Casita delivered this and so much more Johannes, the owner, is not the easiest man to get hold of. However, he is a genius and amazing at what he does. He is so laid back and relaxed, yet is completely on top of everything! We came to the restaurant two days before the wedding and told him what table decorations we would like and how we wanted our menus presented. On the day of the wedding, from the moment we stepped in everything was perfect. Lots of appetisers were given out to our small party of 20 and we sat in the beautiful outside seating area relaxing. The meal was superb, which was noted by the head chef that we had in our wedding party, who was blown away by the standard of the food! I just wish we’d have taken some photos of the food, but we were so busy enjoying it! What we really loved about La Casita as a wedding venue was that Johannes let us choose a few mains and desserts that our party could choose from on the day, meaning that everyone wasn’t stuck with one dish like at a lot of weddings! After the meal, they shut the doors and left us in the marquee with our own music playing through their speakers. We partied into the night with nobody bothering us and it was magical. Finally, compared with a lot of places we looked at for a wedding reception in Ibiza, La Casita is beautiful but not pretentious in any way. It’s set in stunning gardens and a marquee that was private and gorgeous, but Johannes wasn’t trying to charge the price of those yachts in the marina for it! If you’re looking for amazing food, stunning location and the perfect atmosphere, look no further than La Casita!
Had an absolutely beautiful meal here with my partner and parents, atmosphere was lovely in a great little setting, service was great and the food was so good! I’m actually gutted it’s in Ibiza because it’s all I’ve wanted since I’ve been back in the U.K.! I had a big portion of king prawns for starter and the steak and prawns for main, accompanied by 4+ bottles of wine went down a treat! Don’t miss out!!
We were walking in the outskirts of Cala Llonga when we came upon this restaurant. It looked so pretty we immediately booked a table for a couple of days time. We were not disappointed. A wonderful meal with superb unobtrusive service. The setting is picture perfect. We ate inside as it was only May but it must be lovely to sit outside in warmer weather.
We enjoyed it so much here that we visited twice during the week, something we rarely do. The food was excellent both times, very reasonably priced, perfectly prepared and presented. The service was great. It is a very good restaurant. The wine list was superb. Highly recommended.
