After a morning of hiking in the area, we decided to stop to eat before arriving at the village of cauterets. descending from pont d'espagne, next to two spectacular waterfalls, is this restaurant that left us very satisfied. We were 3 friends and opted for the special menu of 26 euros. Incoming order to order goat cheese salad with honey and varied dish with homemade foie. the huge salad. the dish with a varied salad, roasted apple, two toasted with a great homemade foie, melon, ham. you almost already have before the main dish. As dishes we order lamb ribs, civet deer and lean lean of duck, all accompanied by potatoes, peppers and a kind of tortilla of peppers. all enchanted with dishes and cooking points. Ice cream, crepe and Basque cake. all correct we certainly went out to burst and with very good price ratio, the service very well (also to say it was season low.) highly recommended.
very long waiting time (1h for a pickup) several customers who arrived after us went away, we had ordered 2 beers and a coca we decided to go by paying our consumptions no one at the counter after a 2nd attempts I cross the boss who answers me "I do not take care of this rating here " so I have business with another server that refuses to make me pay and tells me to wait for it She tells me to leave what I do, and the boss threatens us to pay our consumption, so we have to pay and went away. I don't recommend a restaurant!!!!
flat well presented, and original touches to brighten the plates. Quick service by smiling staff. the tourist is not taken for a pigeon, which is rare enough to emphasize it!
very friendly restaurant, warm welcome, very good cuisine, neat presentation. prices are very reasonable. terrace and nice view on the waterfall of the lens.
