Was looking forward to trying this place but was a little disappointed. The restaurant is on a lovely quiet street in the old town, location is perfect. Inside is small and cosy and the staff are really friendly. The food is just ok nothing special, quite bland. We shared the provolone to start, which was well baked but not gooey enough. The napoli pasta was ok quite a small portion . Boscaiola was ok but lacked real flavour. Calzone pizza base was good but again lacked flavour.They have a good selection of wines. Probably wouldn't return based on this visit.
We had pizza here which was close to old town. We thought the pizza would be really good given the other reviews but we were quite disappointed. We had bruschetta before our pizza which looked like pizza crust dusted with dried Parmesan. Not a wood fired oven. The pizza de la casa was thick sliced tomatoes with thick sliced mozzarella on top.
What a gem this small Italian place is! Superb food, nice outdoor seating, very friendly service and excellent wine, and all of it very reasonably priced we could not have left any happier and will for sure return! Thank you to the staff who made our evening so pleasant!
