The place is not very large with few tables where you can eat inside and really not very comfortable. The desserts are really delicious, but with regard to the chocolate I was a little disappointed because I expected it to be much thicker and creamier, instead it was very liquid. The only thing I don't recommend are the small sweets, similar to the French macarons, but they don't have the same crispness and lightness as the originals; it's better to stick to the chocolate single-portions, there are some very good ones! At the beginning of the restaurant there is a small shop where you can buy chocolate or small gifts.

This was the absolute best hot chocolate I've ever had! I got a small milk chocolate and drank it in three sips. I wish I'd ordered a larger size because it's been two days and I'm still thinking about it. My friend got the Brazil. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate but they really enjoyed it. I guess this place is known for having extremely rich hot cocoa and it definitely is that. Very thick (in the best way) and creamy ???? L.A. Burdick was a great way to warm up on a cold,rainy night. Also, the passion fruit dessert was out of this world!
I came across L.A. Burdick by chance with my husband. We just wanted to have a drink but the amazing place and the quiet atmosphere attracted us ???? We ordered hot chocolate for our drinks and some cakes, and spent about an hour there. I loved my cake. Highly recommend to taste it. It?s a must go place to visit!
