If you'd like to try a brasserie that is rather different than the rude Parisians one then try the Brasserie du Chateau. It's stylish but cheap. Their 3 courses menu at 37 euros offers a lot of choice typically French food. They have also seafood. The service is very good and absolutely not rude like you could have expected from a French restaurant.I will definitely go back.

Went here for lunch with a colleague. A seafood restaurant quite far from the see. We had mussels and fries, tasty. The place itself is a bit run down, but service was ok. Definitely good enough for a normal lunch. We didn't try any of the other seafood (eg lobsters), they were life and looked fresh. I might come back for dinner when I stay in the neighborhood.

Omg this has got to be one of the best places to eat when in Paris. Very friendly and helpful staff. And really yummy food and a nice place to people watch. Excellent........

We had excellent moules-frites and also enjoyed looking at the more sophisticated meals served at the neighbouring tables.
