La Bigorne - Table reservation

Ate here when the place we were staying in decided not to serve food. We managed after some time to find this place open on a Wednesday evening. The owner was so welcoming and that proved a winner for us. The food was good, not fussy, but well done. Would recommend if you want something unfussy . Especially when your chamber d'hote decides not to cook for its guests.

Restaurants in France seem to be closed or open at very odd hours, and it takes a while to figure out. When La Bigorne restaurant was closed we noticed that their next-door pizza takeaway was open. We ordered their signature pizza, also called La Bigorne, and it was an absolute revelation, easily the best pizza we've had in years. The prices were reasonable as well.

we had a few meal times there not exceptional, but good. maultier and frit were good, pizzas were good. wein is not very special at all.

We had a couple of meals there - not exceptional but fine. Moules and frites were good, pizzas were good. Wine not special at all.
