"I loved skiing here! They do a great job manicuring the trails and lifts. And they have a great selection of all different types of terrain. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Tahoe!"

The mountain itself is four stars but it's almost like you don't want to publicize it because it would get too popular but as someone who's suffered through more than my fair share of food at Lake Tahoe they seem to be on the up and up this year. I had chili and there were green onion garnishes. The macaroni and cheese didn't taste like school prison food. Nice!

It is hard to get in during snow storms, so always check Caltrans and figure out the road situation before you head in. The roads into the ski resort is just a bit run down, tons of potholes, so drive slow. I wish the parking is more convenient. The terrain is just massive. And the mountains view is just magnificent. The one day ticket is roughly about $150

One of the best small/midsize mountain resorts in the South Tahoe area, and in California in general. Good runs, great views, and fun parks. As a local passholder to another mountain I can say that the snow is always better down south. Kirkwood definitely goes deep, even on closing day.

very good skiing when there is a lot of snow or a little because of its location, snow melts slowly and the terrain is actually challenging. would not recommend for beginners as there are not so many starter slopes.
