Lovely family run restaurant near the beach front. Having looked at all the restaurants along the front, we came across Karmela's, just slightly back from the main promenade in a nice shaded area, still with a view of the sea. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was perfect. We had mussels and clams, then ordered garlic prawns when we saw them at another table. Nice wine too. Definitely try a pudding. Very relaxed and enjoyable lunch, thank you to all at the restaurant for a lovely experience. Would highly recommend. (Would also recommend getting there early as the tables soon fill up, and it doesn't take bookings).

This is a great restaurant we have been coming for 6 years every July. Amazing food, great staff who are friendly as well as perfect location. There are no bookings which is good. Service is excellent with rapid turnover so tables come up quickly. Good range of dishes so something for everyone.

Absolutely charming! Family owned and run. Fresh dishes Had wonderful mussels with garlic, fresh bread, fried squid and Sangria. All outstanding. Karmela chatted with us on both occasions and must have been on the lookout for me the next day as she returned my hat I had left behind:
