Kalaveras - Table reservation

This place is LOUD! To cramped! Busy and loud! The menu is very minimal. Not a lot to choose from. Our server Lilly was great but I'm rating the restaurant itself and not her she gets 5 stars . The place is dark so if there's anything in your food, you'll never know! I ordered 3 Quesa Birria tacos. 3 huge greasy oily tacos that came with the following Consomé ... basically a cup of oil Chili Oil ..... oil and oil everywhere lol The was no way I could dip, drink or sprinkle consomé, beyond oily and cold. My taco presentation had avocado but since when does Birria have avocado ? I had to ask for lime and I get those tiny limes they have at the bar lol My sister ordered the Sushi .. and oh boy those babies were huge I MEAN HUGE! She gave it 2 stars. Overall portions are huge but lacked flavor and super greasy oily! For someone that had her gallbladder removed that is straight not edible! I was terrified in eating. 88 dollars later .... I was disappointed. Definitely will prob not try again. There are plenty other great Mex Restaurants with same concept. Definitely not kid friendly and if you're on a date be prepared to just stare at each other, there's no way you will be able to have a conversation. Kyle and Kylie don't lie this is not a great atmosphere and definitely the food is not good. Ppl who are giving 5 stars probably do not know anything about Mex food

Maritza was the BOMB! Super sweet and attentive. I ordered the tamarind margarita but with vodka instead bc it disagrees with my stomach! Also chicken quesadilla. Thank you!

It's super noisy and crowded seating. Compared to San Pedro restaurant which is less crowded and not noisy outside

Pricing but bar area it all good for me !! Great customer service . Cleaning wide need little bit of work
