(A lunch with four people for 63.90 Euro A refreshed Christmas dinner today led us to the Kaisergarten, a somewhat remote Mongolian Chinese restaurant between Herborn and Hörbach, where we would never have found without instructions and local experts. The more amazing that already at our early arrival (11:45 many cars were in front of the restaurant. Parking should be thought, are available in sufficient number. Nevertheless, later I had problems parking, as I was parked around by Parker in the second row. This already indicates what crowds the Kaisergarten filled with after we arrived there. The building itself does not look particularly welcoming, rather like a warehouse in the industrial area. We were very kindly greeted and on request, if we had reserved a table (we agreed to head to a table). It was still relatively empty and the selection was large. Impressive was the huge, slightly gloomy hall, with uncomfortable wooden chairs, which, however, had a good padding. The table for 4 people had a little bit small but nicely covered (the porcelain cutlery benches are kneading. We chose a la Carte. Hardly put down, one of the flashes and also very friendly service appeared at the table. Beverages were served very quickly and while we studied the menu, the restaurant fills up remarkably. It was also becoming more and more restless, as the crowds already mentioned usually stormed into the buffet. The buffet, divided into one side with finished dishes, the other side with raw fish, seafood, meat and vegetables. Here it is possible to assemble its plate itself, mark it with a table-numbered laundering clip and leave it at the “Wok Koch” where everything is freshly prepared and then brought to the table. Both sides of the buffet looked very appealing and my parents sounded excellent. For a la carte meal. As an appetizer I chose chicken meat spear with peanut sauce (3,90€ , my wife Mini spring rolls (2,60€ , 4 pieces per card, on the plate were five. The spits are tastefully excellent and the portion size is well dimensioned. However, both appetizers do not claim creativity (as well? , rather placed on the plate without love. 5 mini spring rolls don't give anything, so there is no photo of it. My main dish was called CHAP KAM SHI CHIU (11.30€ , " cows, chickens and pork with peppers, mushrooms and bamboo in black bean sauce (sharf with garlic “). She was picked up before I had enjoyed my last appetizer, and she took off as a serving for 2 people. I now know that black beans are not my case, reminiscent of boiled port wine, but it tasted very good all around and was fresh and appealing. The “friedfish fillet with vegetables” (9,00 € presented itself as a double serving, was tastefully excellent, perhaps with a little bit of panade. We didn't even need to ask how, of course, the table service explained that we would get the rest packed for takeaway. The cloak around us meanwhile bienenhort-like, and in all, the service personnel kept the flashing, and friendly overview. Respect. Unfortunately, the famous feel-good factor did not come to unfold. I don't know how it's on other days of the week, but I know that Büffet is there every day. Personally a little too full, too restless, too uncomfortable. A place behind partitions or in a niche offers this, but not this open hall. There were also several rooms (at least 2 and a hall with 2 bowling alleys that were well used. An experience. I can only recommend to everyone, everyone should take a picture of this. Just look at the internet presence (speech card! Who wants good, but little sophisticated, delicious food in large portions at a small price, finds what he is looking for.
