The atmosphere is unpretentious, but this type of restaurant should be judged on food, not interior. I had a kind of potato-minced meat pancake as appetizer and filled dumplings with spicy tomato sauce and garlic yoghurt as main course. Very nice, and the ‘medium spiciness’ was just right for a European. The desert, pudding with cardamom, was delicious.What struck me was the combination of Middle Eastern cuisine (with olives and minced meat) with the more Indian tastes of curry. Coriander goes unexpectedly well with cardamom pudding!Service was also good: no waiting and good recommendations about the menu.
We visit Kabul today and it was a wonderful experience.The food was excellent, the service was also great. It's a small place, with a few tables (always make a reservation). I would definitely recommend this place as the flavours with azafrán, cardamomo, and others will make an unforgettable moment.Don't forget to ask for a dessert....It's a must!
