Have been here a few times. Bagels are good but I always thought it was a little bit pricey. The last two times I have been here I have found my order to be more expensive than I had originally thought. Close to $50 for a dozen and a half bagels, three small containers of cream cheese, and a small coffee. Came back for lunch another day, and ordered the fresh mozzarella panini which ended up being about $15. The sandwich itself was subpar and extremely soggy. This led me to the reviews here on Google and was sad to find this is a common experience here. On their menu on the website it seems my sandwich should have cost $10. I noticed on my receipt I was rung up as a custom item . I definitely feel there are some questionable business practices in terms of how they are ringing customers up. Will not be going back.
Never go to this place if you have a disability! My poor son had to use the restroom, I suggested we stop in and use the restroom and buy a drink. He used the restroom, pick out an iced tea and went up to the counter to pay the man, he was rude and obnoxious! He was annoyed that he only wanted a drink and charged him $5.49, for a small ice tea and there no posted pricing, which is illegal! I told my son to just pay and leave. People like this are not worth arguing with.
We used Johnny's to cater a brunch for 40 people. The food was excellent, everyone loved it all!! The presentation was beautiful! There was more than enough food, plus we had leftovers. It was ready perfectly on time, which was greatly appreciated! The service and staff were all very friendly and kind. The communication was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend Johnny's and would use them again.
