Stopped by Jin Ding for some dim sum and it did not disappoint! The restaurant overall is very clean and nice! Our server was so attentive and friendly! We were the first table there right when they opened so the service time was also fairly quick! The prices were on the higher side than most places I have visited serving dim sum but they offered the same selection if not with a few varieties. We ordered scallion pancakes, custard buns, pork buns, soup dumplings, shrimp and bbq rice rolls, chives dumpling, their special dumpling and a few more dishes. Our total came out to about $100 tip. My favorite was the bbq rice roll. The meat was tender and nice small pieces of spare rib paired with the chewy rice roll was delicious! I did also like that the soup dumplings were smaller making it easy to pop and consume without burning your entire face.I was slightly disappointed at the custard buns though. I am not sure if they're premade and just heated but only one of the 3 looked the way it was supposed to. The other 2, looked so deformed, could not tell that it was supposed to look like a pig. I am sure most people probably order this with the intent of it looking cute, so they should make sure to provide the customers with that experience!
