I had the pleasure of dining at Europea a few times in the past and had enjoyed the meals.This time I was invited for lunch. Looking at the menu beforehand, I was disappointed with the choices: only 2 of the 4 choices for entrees and main courses were included in the 45$ price. E xtra was required for the other 2.The menu mentioned « bouchées apéritives » as one of the 4 courses. Really? A handful of popcorn and a small quenelle of crab for 2 counted as a course?The lobster cappuccino is as good as before, though the portion is much smaller than I recall.The gravlax was good but the risotto was bizarre; it was sweet and had crunchy bits in it. However, there was a generous amount of lobster meat.Service is as good as before but the overall experience was not. It’s a shame.
We had a good time, the place is not too stuffy, which is nice, the music is suitable and Nicolas' service was remarkable. Thanks to him.Regarding the food, we really liked the choice of the tasting menu, we like to discover new flavors. From starters to dessert we were delighted, the lobster was perfect.The visual details also change the experience. We loved the moment at the sugar shack, it’s the added bonus of leaving with some treats.Perhaps a little expensive, the desire to come back is not necessarily there even if it was very good with quality ingredients.The little words and attentions were also appreciated.
I have made a 12-course dinner for NYE and everything was absolutely amazing. Some highlights were the lobster bisque latte and the caviar salad. Dessert included a trip to a candy room to fill a take-out box and a delicious maple cotton candy. I couldn't recommend this place anymore. On the amazing food was the service stellar.
Received a warm note from chef upon arrival, the experience during appetizers period was great but a little bit overwhelming tho because multiple dishes were served all at once. The lobster was delicious and fresh. It’s also a fair price given the portion and the taste. Overall we had a wonderful dinner
