Don 't let the words yacht club scare you away. Yes, there is boating, but there is so much more than that! It 's a very welcoming, friendly and active club. There is something for everyone from tennis to bocce ball, parties and events, lectures and wine tastings, cards/games, and fitness, to one of the best restaurants in Punta Gorda. If you like to dine out, especially in season, you should, seriously, consider joining for no other reason than their restaurant and bar. Great food and you can make a reservation.
Isles Yacht Club is a great place to meet friends and participate in the boating community. We moved here four years ago and were invited to join IYC within months. There are group boating adventures through club events, along with dancing, entertainment, charitable events, tennis, a gym with exercise classes, board games, and other fun activities. It is a great place to intergrate yourself into Punta Gorda life.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful!! Such a variety of choices and a wonderful serving staff! There is nothing better than enjoying a Sunday breakfast with beautiful views!
Such a friendly group of down to earth people. Fabulous dinners and great variety and numerous activities!
