what happened to the chips? first visit since before lockdown, friendly staff, good selection of beef, steak and fish really good. Unfortunately, the chips were not from the norm they were before the lock. have previously been with family and friends with them all say that the chips were the best they had ever tasted. the chips that are now served are hard on the outside that my wife left and I only managed them because I had pfeffersoße with my steak to soak them.
really good to home cooked independent kitchen, and a nice independent pub. service was good and the atmosphere was nice and warm. the blue cheese sauce with the burger. it looks and tastes like pfeffer mais. I raised this and was not told him about his blue definitiw cheese. so either really bad sauce or a forgotten cook. it had not been a good thing, except that I can't blame, eating was so good and personal really welcoming
visited irby mill today (sonday) for family members birthday. they were 9 of us and 7 months old. most of us had the roast that was very delicious. they had fish and chips that were also delicious. the irby mill is a beautiful old building that is very hut like. there is a good selection of real ales. staff very friendly and helpful.
great service and eating. recommend the burgers, with seasoned riders, they are beautiful. we also had fish and chips. light teig and the homemade cloby chips are great. many good quality beer in offer. worth a visit.
