Sushi restaurants are everywhere, but a good Udon and Ramen is rare. we were lucky to find ippins during our day trip to Santa Rosa. Let's start with the rice bowl. we had a very tasty salmon dish. the eggs were perfect. a thicker laughter would be wonderful. Next we had charsiu udon. the soup base tasted so rich and good. the charsiu was very tasteful and delicate and we love the parsley or coriander in it! When you add parsley to the hot soup, all flavors and aroma will simply break out. are you going to have sown? and not to forget, all udon and ram are made in the house
Excellent sushi, rolls, udon rice bowls, tempura, sashimi, nigiri, plus an assortment of appetizer dishes that cover a panoply of baked mussels, agedashi tofu, seaweed salad, etc. Sushi very fresh. IMO the rolls take the prize. The menu offers up innovative and many combinations of raw or cooked/ tempura style fish, crab, baby scallops, shrimp, unagi with avocado, cream cheese, cucumber, sauces. I especially loved the Dynamite and Dragon rolls. We dined in the only party at a Sunday late lunch. The place was immaculate. Highly recommend.
My chicken Udon was ready in two minutes! Hot and perfect Bouncy noodles. Lean chicken meat. Yam tempura took a little longer, but was delicious also and very cheap. Super clean. Friendly staff. I am surprised that this place was no longer busy!
