I have used this place a couple of times lately and even though I was not over Impressed the 1st time I decided to give It a 2nd chance, I phoned them and he said It would be ready In 25 mins, when I got there I noticed that the place/shop was looking very tired and In bad need of a lick of paint etc and I also noticed It had changed hands, I still stood there for well over 10 mins waiting (even though I arrived 30 mins after phoning) The guy did say he would put a couple of popadoms In the bag !! When I got home the starter was ok as were the popadoms but the main (mixed biriyani) was awful, It tasted bitter and most of It went In the bin as did the nan bread as It was so chewy and tasteless !! Will not be returning !!
I've just moved in around the corner discovered I have an Indian and Chinese on my doorsteps I thought I would give them a go, my balti was both salty and flavorless at the same time my naan bread was ridiculously doughy and crappy, my coconut rice contain no sweetness. I've had far far better take aways in Rugby and shall not be returning to Brownsover again which is a shame as it's ridiculously close. Feeling a lil rough now...
Have had a few take aways from here,All have been superb!!! We live in Dunchurch and have two indian restaurants but we would always eat from here anytime.lovely fresh food everytime,Well done Indian Kitchen,keep this up and you will be amongst the best in the town!!!!!
On waiting for order it was freezing cold in shop. It was dirty , even some one was moaning about her last order. Wont be rushing back! When it first opened it was great.
