Indian Express, Tandoori And Curry

I stumbled to this place when trying to find another place. I met the owners son who helped me with ordering take away and a menu. He warned me that level madras would be spicy but I brashly went for it (huge mistake, I was in pain and had to consume a lot of water a yogurt to get thru it). The saag and soy chunks were delicious and filling. He assured me there was no dairy (including ghee) used. I would have gone back! But one order was a lot of food for me so I added more tofu to the gravy and ate it a second time with rice. He also gave me a bag of papad and that was super delicious.

The curry I had was okay, but the two sides we ordered with chickpeas and lenses were great. We wanted soya in the curry they didn't have. Then we wanted it with lenses instead of as a protein source, but they said that it would not be possible only with mixed vegetables. At the end there were lenses inside..

Nice restaurant, service and food. The menu clearly marks what food milk has, so it is easy to choose vegan options. The food was very delicious. I would recommend it.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why this restaurant gets so many positive reviews, or was the cook cook on holiday?
