"This is a great place to eat the menu is quiet small but the food is great quality. A typical Japanese, French food. I have had the sashimi menu at midday a couple of times and it's always good. Lovely discovery in Saint Blaise"

This is a fusion restaurant. The place is simple, decorated with taste and there was jazz music in the background, which, I'll admit, earned some points with me. I am not a big fan of fusion, but everything was really tasty. Every ingredient is fresh and well chosen. There is obvious effort put in every dish. An amuse bouche is offered before the meal, and it was really tasty. I had a miso soup with veggies for starter. It was a generous portion. Then, the main meal is served on a large plateau and is accompanied many little tasty things to vary your experience. So we were sadly too full for desert! The only downside for me is that the choice is very limited for vegetarians, so it will be difficult to go to Ikiru very often. Maybe next time I will skip the main dish and have the desert instead!

I usely go for lunch time, but everytime I go there it is an outstanding experience. The place is great the food is fresh and delicious. The lunch is almost the same concept everyday where you can choosw between sushi or the p'ate of the day. Inspired by japanese culture you will get french fine food. The desert is a huge plus i would advise you not to leave without taking it. I really enjoy to go there not only for the food but the owners are very polite and they do their best to make your stay formidable ! When I see the menu for the dinner i really have to go there once to taste what they suggest at night.Thank you very much!

This is a lovely small restaurant run by a couple. The food quality is good and the flavouring well thought and executed. All in one we had a nice evening out there although the service can be somewhat a bit slow, but this is okay if you get freshly prepared food, well presented and cooked to perfection.A small comment nonetheless: It would be very welcome if there would be a bit more selection for none meat eaters! The evening we passed there was only 1 fish (salmon,) it would be really welcome to have at least an alternative option, if like in our case you want to avoid farm raised salmon.

What a great little restaurant in St. Blaise - we had a function in the upstairs function room and the food was absolutely delicious! A very creative menu that caters for all tastes. The staff/owners are super friendly at this quirky little restaurant. Good restaurants like this that are reasonably priced and have excellent food are few and far between in Switzerland.
